Reasons for wanting to join the B.G. community(wide answer required):
The upfront driver was the server description, criteria, and rules that were posted on reddit. After checking out the website for the server I was more interested. I want a fun, mature, community of players. I am on a server now, this was after bouncing around god knows what, including a server where farms were not aloud, specifically with Mobs, (cause they deserved a fighting chance...) besides that I wanted to do more farm/automation things, applied to another server for 16+ then one day someone chimed in the chat "There is a 37 year old here O.o", next server
, a couple SMPs down the line ended up in the one I am on now, which I am basically the only one on, the admin comes on from time to time, just asks me to make specific farms here and there, then leaves, sometimes there are others that come un, but they just end up bickering with the admin and get removed from the list, plus if you don't sign on in 3 to 4 days without prior notification to the admin you are removed permanently, seen it many times, other childish stuff. So I say all this to show what I am not looking for and what my believe I would find on this server. Mature/respectable people that work/talk together and for fun, where there is more people buliding up the server/environment besides myself. I am under the impression I could find what I am looking for here and avoid or minimize the amount of stuff I know I don't like. I know there is an age requirement, but not sure about a cap a good amount of the youtubers I watch are around my age.

When and how did you start playing minecraft:
Started playing MC on PS3 (v1.04 I believe), moved onto Xbox 360, back to PS3 (Hoppers!), MC Pi Edition, Pocket Edition, PS4, now PC
Do you watch streams or youtube videos about minecraft and are you a fan of any popular minecrafters ?:
Everyday, try to keep up with my favorites (most of which are on the HermitCraft server of have moved there recently), Mumbo is great for redstone creations/ideas, Tango is awesome with his redstone and builds, started watching him on his Moonlight server with Impulse, Xisuma funs to watch especially when he is irritated with something. By far my favorite right now for entertainment and builds is Sl1pg8r, he walks a fine line with the stuff that comes out of his mouth, think he's slipped a couple times, he is hilarious to listen to and the guy bounces off the wall.
How good are you in minecraft /10 and in what fields(don't be hard on yourself):
Redstone 6 or 7, building 6, automation 7, working the game mechanics 8
Do you plan on steaming or starting a youtube series in the B.G server ?:
Something I would like to do, been on my mind for sometime but it's always what to do to catapult myself into it, others have come up with great things that brought them 100K+ subscribers, typically it's tutorials that drive people to you, but it's gotta be original. One day it will hit me.
For how long do you plan on playing minecraft(doesn't have to be with us just in general):
As long as it's up and running.
Extra information(wide answer required): I like to laugh and joke, like right now it says 'wide answer required' and all I want to do it <---wide-enough---> all the way across the screen, or those tricks you did in high school or college to make your papers cover 10 pages. I will tell you my favorite situation that happened, story time, was sitting with the wife on the couch and I let one rip, she says "Sounds like something died in you", and of course I couldn't miss the opportunity and I reply "Yeah, my hopes and dreams", I slept on the couch that night... Real stuff, I have a background in computer programming, all the computers in my house run Linux (Mint and Ubuntu) I like my tech (probably why redstone is something I enjoy) love playing around with my Raspberry Pi's, plural cause they are setup all over the house doing something (media servers/media players/house hold sentry's/ all relaying information back to the central server, which is all controlled by a Galaxy S3 with a custom ROM, this Christmas will have a full on music and light show controlled by a Raspberry Pi and an 8 Channel SSR. Besides that I collect video games, specifically Nintendo NES to N64 (Wii Sucks). I work (Computer Security) and have two toddlers boys (4/5) who both love watching DiamondMinecart, another reason I will be playing MC for along times, cause they will move into PE at some point. They sit around and watch me, the 5 year old often makes comments to me about placing redstone torches O.o All this I still find time to get my MC time in, usually 3 hours in the evenings (CST) during the week and may end up being all weekend depending on what is going on. In regards to the stuff I build, I will for the most part look to those that basically are full time Mincrafters for the best designs, that's how they get subscribers and views, they spend alot of time measuring throughput or compactness (Iron Trench or Iron Titan), but I will tweak/customize them for my needs or applications. Bottom line I like building things whether in real life or in MC.
