Lunalf here, real name Luna, luna.malfilatre on skype. You see the pattern.
I'm 25 and from Copenhagen, Denmark.
I've been looking for an active mindcraft community ever since I started playing and realised that multiplayer was a thing. I was an active member on a server called Franktonia for a little over a year, until it slowly died. We were only two people left in the bitter end, and we try to still hang on to eachother when looking for a new server. About a month ago I joined a newly created server playing the snapshots, and I'm still moderating that one. But activity (and maturity tbh) is not that great. So when Vorusko joined us, but then moved on to you guys, I figured I would give it a go as well!
I only started playing the game a little while before 1.8 was released, and love following the development of the game.
A few months back I had the pleasure to go to the Mindcrack party in London (and meeting my server friend from Franktonia irl), but i was too slow to actually get a ticket to Minecon itself. Boo. BUT man, meeting the guys was so much fun! Bad selfies were taken, drinks were had, it was a hoot. So yea, I follow quite a bit of different youtubers (Zisteau and Vechs for their general personalities and evil tendencies, Beef for just being lovely, Etho for going all in on crazy redstone contraptions and ambitious projects, Chad is just adorable aaaand a bunch more. Mostly Mindcrackers I just realised... a lot of good Danish ones as well).
I'd love to start streaming and recording, but but but my computer is going through tough times... Ever since I... poured... water... in it.... sigh.
When money will come my way I will get famous on the internet! You'll see. You'll ALL see!
Anywho, I'd say I'm an alright minecrafter. Pretty terrible at redstone, but I can follow tutorials, so that helps. Building and immersion is my thing. I love gathering supplies and attempting to build huge things, only to make building time double or tripple from setting up and taking down scaffolding. But that's the beauty of this game, finished buildings are just that. Finished. Sooo yeah. I often die to the classic Can I Make This Jump Oh Crap I Couldnt Imma Die.
I plan on playing for a long time. So far my interest hasn't gone down at all, so it's been very frustrating to see server after server die out when you just want to play.
My normal days vary every other week. I have a 5-yo son who is with me one week out of two. So one week I'm working, picking him up, cooking dinner and then play at night. And the next I'm a teenager again, sleeping in, playing games all day, going out at night, rinse and repeat. And working a bit too.
I finished my bachelor degree in French and film+media theory and history, with additional digital communication, this spring. So now I'm taking a break from studies and am working at a cozy little hostel here in Copenhagen, while doing some freelance photography.
I love playing and listening to music, watching and talking about movies, and having fun. More clichés go here.
Soo yeah. Let me know if i missed anything or you have any questions!
...Also I dropped my phone in the rain two days ago (COME ON), so I'm only able to check mail etc on my computer. Life changes ugh.
