As most of u noticed, Roodz has been inactive for sometime. I had a conversation with him today and he got shit load of problems so entering Minecraft is kind of out of the question for him (at least for now). Also, i have alot of work those few days, and sometimes i cant login for 2 3 days in a row. for that, i call for a new admin vote. All votes are anonymous, so please vote for who us think is more fit, more active and who can add to the server and community. The list is from the most active players and who has been on the server for more then a week or so... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT:
As most of the players have noted, we need 2 new admins to fill all the timezone. so this is how it will work:
- Who want and think that he/she is fit to be admin, please nominate urself and tell us a bit about yourself. i will add to the poll only the players that want to be admin (come forward before Friday night / Saturday morning)
- Members have to vote for 2 nominee (You can start voting after the nominee list is locked)
- votes will end on Tuesday
So please who want to be admin come forward and every1 vote... Also, keep in mind, u dont need to be an admin to help with the server; we are a community and we want everyone to have a blast, add to the server, help each others and make it a gre8 atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

I am sure I am regarded as being too inactive to become admin, but I will be more active if i had something tied to minecraft besides a big build that scares me... I cannot play mc much, but (if this is as far as the admin duties will go) I will be able to access console for most of the day... I feel I do already show some characteristics of a mod (helping with peoples apps when they are no good)... I am not necessarily asking for admin, I am just asking for you to consider it:P
Edit: For those who may not think they know me, I am not necessarily inactive, I am more active than you may think... I do participate and help the community more than people think... I may not be on the server much, but if I do become admin I will be, not saying that to get me active I need to be admin, I am just saying that if I am regarded as worthy of admin I will make sure I am viewed as a good admin and will be around to help more... I say all this because in my mind people probably don't even think twice about choosing people other than me...

Well i'm already doing a lot in server (events on server, helping everyone in any way i can, giving tours, helping with builds and community's concerns, i take responsibility for everything that we do without admins permission ).I built a lot of builds for community always try to make community work together(not always happens sadly). I'm one of the oldest players in server and i'm consistently online. I get along with everyone in server and if someone has something to say to me i'm always open for criticism and i'm always reading new apps try to give new suggestions and try to do as much as i can to form a nice community of players and that's what i will do while i'm on the server.

Would people be willing to make 2 people mods? My thoughts are Phil to do US/Canada time zone coverage and Fal to be admin during other times where anth is usually on but cant make it... that seems like a better idea to me than just have one mod but still no consistent coverage cause phil is usually on when fal and anth are sleeping and they are on while he sleeps and works...

As your Nominee for Representative for the Western Hemisphere District of the Republic of Brofessionals I will endeavor to end the tyrant and oppression that we have/do/may face here on this server. Almost dairy we are confronted with this hardship that takes its toll on our builds. We are too often reminded of this injustice. I will strive to end our hardships brought on to us and bring us into a golden age or prosperity.
Some may say that it is our fault. We brought this on ourselves. Nay, I say. This was NOT brought onto us by our OP Picks and their silk touch. I will usher in a new era, where there is cobblestone in every base. No longer will we need to drop everything and go mining because we do not have the resources to build pistons, furnaces, droppers or the cobblestone needed for our medieval builds. I will end this shortage of COBBLESTONE! If I am elected admin, I promise a stack of cobble for every member of this server!

In all seriousness, I love being on this server and want to be here to help out as much as possible. I'd like to see us all work on group projects, events, and do what ever we can to make this a fun place for everyone. I want to do what ever I can to help bring on more awesome people. Hopefully I can help to organize more with the community and make this server even more awesome than it is. I like doing things that everyone can benefit from and enjoy learning from others. I have never done administration for a MC server, but in real life I am a systems and security admin for IT and Oracle products, so I think I can get the hang of this. Give me a check on the voting grid above! And let the cobble FLOW!
Seriously though, the lack of cobble has been a PITA for me, and it's the picks I make, but every time I need cobble, gotta go mine some.

By this I mean that I will treat this as a job, which you may think would be a bad thing and think "Oh if this will be hard or not fun for him maybe I should be kind and just vote for the others" To me a job is a good thing, jobs are fun, I love feeling important/needed/busy, to me having a job such as that in minecraft is more fun than the game... also i didnt realize until this just how much i wanted mod... i usually lie to myself and say that i dont, but apparently i do:P but i dont just want to be given mod, i want people to trust me and vote me into it, just like we are doing here:P also, thx for voting for me!!! it was nice and heartwarming to see that people actually voted for me!!! |

So essentially there are two positions being voted for but really one is already filled? Everyone else has withdrawn from the European Time Zone. Really only TJ and Phil are running for the Can/US time zone. Is this correct?

well at first, i just needed 1 admin to help me with the server. but members asked to have not only 1, but 2 admins with difference time zone. so we did 3 days w/o voting so any1 can get nominated and we got only 1 player from europe time zone, and 2 players from usa/canada time zone.. so europe is kinda filled since no 1 wanted it... anyway, as i already sad: Also, keep in mind, u dont need to be an admin to help with the server; we are a community and we want everyone to have a blast, add to the server, help each others and make it a gre8 atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
